What is NukeAuction?

NukeAuction is a PHP based module for the PHPNuke webportal system. The module allows your members to create an account and sell or buy auction items on your web portal. Your members will be able to leave feedback on items they have bought or sold. Confirmation emails are sent to the seller when an auction is listed. Auction ended emails are sent to the buyer and seller with contact information on auction completion.

What's the difference between this NukeAuction Revamped module and Auc4Nuke or Auction4Nuke by PHPNukeServices?

NukeAuction Revamped is based on the same module as Auc4Nuke. It was designed around the well known auction software PHPAuction and ported to work on our PHP-Nuke Portals.

As we all found out and for some at a cost of $40, the Auc4Nuke and Auction4Nuke modules never really worked the way they were intended. The reason for this is simple, the PHP coding was not complete. The module was being sold even though the scripting was never completely finished.

You can still find this module downloadable at many PHP Nuke websites such as PCNuke.com. But don't waste your time, it is incomplete and outdated. As PHP has upgraded, a lot of the code from that Auc4Nuke module is no longer supported.

So how are you offering a NukeAuction Revamped module based on Auc4Nuke that works?

A significant amount of time was spent correcting problems and updating the Auc4Nuke code. In addition a lot of new code was written to fill in where others left off. By combing through the Auc4Nuke code and correcting, adding, and updating it we have come out with a working copy of the module.

What version of PHP-Nuke will NukeAuction Revamped work on?

The current module has only been tested on PHPNuke 7.9. It may or may not work on previous or later version of Nuke. The live auction is running on PCNuke's PCMax Extreme version 7.9.

Are there any new features with this copy of NukeAuction Revamped?

Yes. The first feature not included in the Auc4Nuke module is the fact that IT WORKS!! This module is currently running on a website with live auctions. If you inquire by email to us at info AT 6gun2 DOT com we will provide you with a link to a PHP Nuke website that is running this module.

So why are you charging $10 for it?

The main reason for the $10 charge for this new module is due to the amount of time that was spent fixing the problems and creating the new features. Seeing the previous unworking copy of the auction module was running for $40, this is more than reasonable considering the amount of issues that were corrected. The new features alone make this $10 charge more than worth while.

How do I order my copy?

We will also include a method to make the $10 payment. Once payment has been made, we will email you a link to download the module. Included in this module will be install instructions, a list of some of the bugs that were fixed, and the forum feedback modification and scroll auction block.
